Heatstore, Auto Flow Thermostatic Shower

It has a fully thermostatic operation to +/-1ºC which is pre-programmed to provide hot water at a constant and safe temperature. The ‘Lock Mode’ provides 3 optional settings which cap the temperature at 40ºC, 41ºC or 43ºC so the chance of accidental temperature increase is completely eliminated. Alternatively the lock can be bypassed allowing the water to be adjusted to a maximum of 46ºC. This is ideal for families with young children, the elderly and people who are less able.

It also has a range of features suiting the visually impaired which include an audible feedback response to push-button commands, large one touch easy-to-press start button operation, large LED temperature display and matt antiglare label backing. The Phased Shutdown feature helps reduce scale build up and also ensures cool-start for the next user, with automatic shutdown of the shower after 30 minutes of inactivity This high specification meets the stringent requirements for BEAB & BEAB Care approved accreditation for care establishments.

The Eco Water Save feature automatically calculates and adjusts the optimum flow rate which takes into account the incoming water temperature and restricts the flow to 6 litres per minute. This ensures the shower conforms to the ‘Sustainable Home’ water consumption requirements per person for showering.
The Eco Power Save feature automatically adjusts the power of the heating elements to achieve the desired water temperature. Together, these advanced features help bring savings in both water and power used bringing the shower into the Heatstore Green Spot range.

Supplied with a multi-mode, rub- clean handset, the Auto Flow Thermostatic showers come in 4 different models, 8.5, 9.5 & 10.8kW plus and 8.5kW AFTCPK8N version supplied with alternative accessories for care applications. The AFTCPK8N has a colour coded shower head and clamp for visibility plus a white 1m rail and 2m hose providing the option to sit down whilst showering for the elderly and less-able.

All models are rated splash proof to IPX5 for use in bathrooms or wet areas. They also benefit from Heatstore’s two year full on site warranty.
