Heatstore have expanded their range of energy efficient products with the new HS65VT ECO seven litre point of use water heater; ideal for industrial and commercial applications such as canteens, workshops or factories.

 

This further enhances the “Green Spot” range of products, emphasising their growing commitment to improving the environmental impact.

 

This oversink water heater is supplied with an integrated 7-day time clock.

 

This facility allows the user to set the water heater ‘on’ and ‘off’ periods for each separate day of the week.

The ‘on’ periods are set by sliding the timer segments to the outer position, providing a clear indication of the ‘on’ periods.

The unit also incorporates an externally adjustable thermostat, which can adjust the water temperature between 15-75ºC.

 

A major benefit of the new eco water heater is controllability and the facility in a commercial installation to set a programme to cover a weekly usage pattern including weekends. This offers energy savings, which can be up to 74% more efficient than a standard point of use water heater with no timer.

 

The programmer is complete with a 3 position selector:

 

Timed: The heater will operate and heat water as programmed. The separate water temperature thermostat will control the water storage temperature.

 

Position 1: The weekly programme is overridden. The separate water temperature thermostat will control the water storage temperature.

 

Position O: The weekly programmer is over ridden. The water heater is off and the water will not be heated.

 

The weekly programmer is housed under a translucent tamper proof door to prevent vandalism and abuse.
